Distribution of school supplies and uniforms to almost 100 school boys of grades 4 & 5 as well as almost 200 girls of grades 4 & 5 in the communities of Apanaje, Las Sabanas, El Pegador, El Castillo, El Cipian.
Medical clinics held in rural areas continue to be a great success in coffee communities, and whenever we can secure a local hospital, we held the one-two day clinics.
Keeping our focus on education we delivered textbooks to the schools in our coffee communities, in addition to the usual supply of education materials requested by the teachers.
Our 2009-2010 Charitable Project was called: H2O Project. This project Hope 2 Opportunity aims exactly at what the name implies; we aim to convert our hopes for these children's into opportunities for their futures.
What a year 2008 was! We began the year with so much excitement and anticipation for the inauguration on February 23, 2008 of the preschool that together we built in Somoto, Nicaragua.
